It's Decision Time!!

We have reached a crucial time of year, the time when we need to do our research, weigh the pros and cons, decide what choice is truly the best for your fellow Americans........... No silly I'm not talking about this crazy election season ..... I'm talking about choosing the absolute most perfect Christmas Card; the one that will reconnect your family with long lost friends and relatives.  Let's face it we all want to have the cutest card, the one that screams put me front and center on the fridge or mantle, not take one look and toss in a drawer to never be seen again!  OK yes I'm being overly dramatic, I hope no one takes it that seriously, but if you are interested in finding great Christmas cards click here http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-cards and look through Shutterfly's collection.

There are so many amazing choices, but here are a few that I really like:
 This one is very elegant and I love that the picture is large because that is really what people are interested in when they see your card.  I'm looking to plan family pictures soon (any suggestions for places let me know!) and use a shot of all three of us for this particular card.  It's flat too not folded and I like those... no writing involved!

This one is precious!  The giggles and grins definitely reminds me of my family, especially Kayleigh, she is always laughing and smiling.  This may be fun to take one of the three of us all laughing and playing together since we all know getting her t sit still for a nice picture could be difficult!

This one is also fun and I like that we could have several pictures on here for people to see.  The two side pictures could be fun shots of Kayleigh and the middle can be a nice one of all three of us.

First Post Ever

So this is my very first blog post ever... and it's long overdue!  I'm creating this as a way for our family and friends to watch Kayleigh grow.  Today is October 27, 2010; Kayleigh is 13 months old, in the 90th percentile for her height and 60th for her weight.  Her third tooth is peeking through her top gums, which explains the increased whining and constant need for something in her mouth (mostly food!!).  She does something new everyday and no matter what it is she somehow manages to hurt me in the process... I say she's too rough, Ty says I'm too weak.. but no seriously she hurts me!  I don't know if it's any indication of her future personality, but this is what I'm foreseeing:

Kayleigh will be the life of the party and the first on the dance floor, always determined to get what she wants, possibly an intimidator though she loves to love on family members and animals, she will have a mothering nature (she really takes care of her baby doll and maybe meaning she will be a good big sis one day), unfortunately I think she is going to be the "loud" kid unlike her mother and sooo much like her daddy!  I think she will enjoy shopping, especially for purses and shoes, be a hard throwing softball player, a fiery strawberry-blonde-head, a singer/dancer/cheerleader, she's already good at saying no so hopefully she is above the influence of others, but mostly in the future I see a strong, intelligent, fun-loving, beautiful girl who is loved so much by her mommy and daddy!

Blogging is fun I could go on and on about this precious little girl, note she is asleep and the house is quiet making it very easy for me to write nothing but positive things!  As Ty and I always say... "It's a crazy life, but it's OUR life!"
